No wonder I'm somewhat tired. I did two calculus lessons and a physics lesson today. Interesting except I'm curious what the point of writing limits on a graph is. Oh well, if I understood basic calculus I'd wonder about more complicated stuff.
Tomorrow night I'm reciting Cædmon's Hymn at out homeschool group's Fine Arts Festival. I've memorized the Old English text, but haven't yet a translation. Hopefully I can get one down before tomorrow evening. Actually, I'd write a longer post except I need to do a little final research. Farewel!

Wow! I've not posted in three days. Sorry; I've been rather busy and yet I didn't get much done. Where has all the time gone?
Well, I had an interesting day on Monday. Mom gave me school off because she needed to get taxes done. I went to the eye doctor (who said eyes are the same as last year) and Dad got home from North Carolina. After that, I went to a meeting at the Bellefontaine Middle School with Troop 182, Bellefontaine, with whom I'm going to summer camp. I found that I had been told to go to the wrong week's meeting, but they still had the right stuff for me. Consequently, I was out of there in about ten minutes.
Nationally, the scene's a bit different. Condoleeza Rice now is going to testify before the 9/11 Commission, and (privately) so are Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney! Why? Some people say it's to fix a PR problem. I think it's stupid, but that's why they, not I, are in power. Still, it seems to be setting a dangerous precedent.
Did you hear about the bombings in Fallujah? The pro-Saddam locals bombed out a few US vehicles carrying civilians, pulled out the bodies, dragged them through the streets, and hanged them up. Seems like retribution would be in order.
Locally, not much happening. The biggest thing in yesterday's paper is some woman pleading guilty to an arson charge. Oh, wait a minute. There was a murder up near the village of Ridgeway, in the northeast of the county, on the 13th. Allegedly, the man shot was at his ex-wife's, picking up their daughter, when she shot him in front of several of his children. Anyway, she got her first court appearance on Monday.
Forgot to mention Coffee Annan fired his UN security chief over the UN bombing some months ago in Iraq. Apparently it's a very high-profile firing. Can we fire the rest of the UN?
I'm hungry! Ic wille brucan middæge mete. I want to eat lunch!

What an odd day! For one thing, we had 23 visitors at church and a total of 63 people — the most I can ever remember without a special occasion. For another, I missed much of morning worship, as Mom had to bring me home because I was feeling extremely tired and soon would have been snoring. Not a good thing to do in church! Plus, Dad's still down at Triangle until tomorrow.

Hwæt! Well, it's morning again; at least I'm more awake now. Go Xavier! They won last night over Texas. It was odd, the ending, they had two foul shots coming up with 3.9 seconds left and a 3-point lead, then the other coach went and got two technicals —> thus six foul shots! Eventual score was 79-71. Unfortunately, they get Duke tomorrow night 8^(
Big news worldwide: The appropriate people have decided that the prime suspect in the Madrid bombings is a Jordanian named Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Name doesn't mean anything for me, but obviously it will be helpful for somebody. Task at hand now: Justice by whatever legit means possible. My favorite is the Predator drones that drop missiles from like 50,000 feet.
Locally, nothing important. Some guy is protesting outside of the National City Bank in Bellefontaine. Apparently his house got knocked down by a tornado and the bank won't accept the insurance checks. The interesting part is that to do this day-long protesting, he had to get an assembly permit. "Assembly" for one guy? At least he's doing it all legally.
Dad's in North Carolina to preach at Triangle. He's been meeting with one of his second cousins and wife whom he hadn't seen in ages. Apparently the plane crash happened just after he landed. I wonder if their weather is better than ours?
Schoolwise, I finished everything except for one literature lesson. I don't think I'll be doing it today, so it's probably for Monday. Today I get to work on cleaning my (far worse than normal) messy room and starting on the Citizenship in the Community merit badge. Maybe I'd better go do that instead of typing, typing, typing!
Farewel for þesdæg oþ midþæmþeæfre gemóte úre is. Ic sceal gá and dó geweorc. I gotta go and do work.

I'm now officially into calculus. Woo-hoo. At least the first three lessons are done.
It's a pity I can't get the stupid setup to work the right way. I went to a site to get a comment feature for the probably about three of you that have looked at this. Procedure was simple, so I did it; however, all it gives me is a box and a few little lines. Plus, those links are there, but I can't make them display. Anybody have an idea to help?
P.S. Anyone interested in these boring Maxims?

They say a military fighter crashed a little bit ago at the Raleigh-Durham airport. Dad was supposed to get there 30 minutes ago. I wonder if he got in?

Well, morning's here and I'm not completely. I woke up before 7 after barely 7 hours of sleep — horrible for me. I wonder how many people on my Friends and Psalm 24 list have blogs? Hmm... today I've gotta do two lessons of precalculus and type Maxims II into my Old English file. At least I seem to have found how to make the poster stop thinking I'm on Pacific time.
Can you believe Richard Clarke? He boasts that Clinton (whose administration he was in) fought terror valiantly, and they shot cruise missiles at aspirin factories. Then he states that Bush, by fighting wars against terror, has destroyed our security over terrorists. Clarke proclaimed Iraq's wmds under Clinton and denied them under Bush. What an idiot.
Biggest thing locally: The Canby building in downtown Bellefontaine has had pieces fall off its façade. Now they wonder what to do with it. Also, some older ladies club whose members all wear red hats and purple dresses got kicked out of a mall recently. It seems they were ejected under an anti-gang rule. I wonder: would Troop 51 (my Boy Scout troop) would be prohibited, too?
Here I'm listening to WLW Cincinnati as I type, and they're talking about sports a bit. Apparently...umm...whats-his-name Xavier's coach might be leaving? It seems that Gene Keady or whatever his name is seems to have agreed to go to San Francisco and Xavier's guy would be a top pick. Maybe I should ask some of my friends up in Lay-Flat 8^D
Maybe I'd better go get some breakfast. I can't imagine why I didn't get any before starting typing this morning. Oh well. At least I'm permitted milk; early this week I was very annoyingly ill and couldn't drink any. Hey! I just remembered the coach's name: Thad Motta.
Farewel for þesdæg oþ midþæmþeæfre gemóte úre is. Farewell for today until whenever our next meeting.

"The LORD of Hosts and none but He the King of Glory is".
Psalm 24:10

Hmm, somehow they published the other one, but only in the archives. I've got lots to learn!

Hwæt! Well, I'm officially up and running. Hopefully I don't make too many speling misteaks 8^D
